Neighbours airs a make-or-break moment for Wendy and Andrew Rodwell's marriage next week.

The couple try to talk things through as Andrew feels betrayed over Wendy's ongoing connection to Quinn Lao, her new university friend.

This week's episodes see Andrew and Sadie both spot tell-tale signs that Quinn is seeking more than just friendship with Wendy.

Andrew initially gives Wendy the benefit of the doubt, but he later confronts her and suggests that she can't be totally oblivious to Quinn's feelings.

Wendy admits that she did share a moment with Quinn recently, but she insists that it's nothing for Andrew to worry about.

When Wendy offers to give Andrew some space to process everything, she's surprised as he agrees that it's a good idea.

In follow-on scenes next week, Wendy gives herself a hard time for not setting clearer boundaries with Quinn sooner.

However, back at the Rodwell house, Andrew is already starting to wonder whether he may have overreacted.

Andrew ends up apologising to Wendy for letting her stay away from home overnight. He concedes that they should have talked through their issues openly and honestly.

Confiding fully in Andrew for the first time, Wendy clarifies that she hasn't been seeking to replace him with anyone else.

Wendy adds that she was searching for her authentic self and found her after starting university, as it was the first time she wasn't judged and felt accepted for who she is.

Andrew tries his best to understand Wendy's perspective as she suggests continuing to work through this crisis together.

Unfortunately for the couple, there could still be a rocky road ahead. Can Andrew and Wendy's marriage survive this?

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell has some explaining to do next week, as she's caught spending more time with her friend and potential love interest Quinn Lao.

Byron Stone is put in the difficult position of interfering in Wendy's marriage after spotting her sharing a hug with Quinn.

Wendy recently confessed to her husband Andrew about how she'd shared a moment with Quinn, a fellow student she'd bonded with at university.

Andrew was furious over the revelation, but later backed down when Wendy agreed that she wouldn't spend time with Quinn anymore.

This week's episodes see Byron realise that Wendy could still be lying to Andrew, as he witnesses a seemingly-cosy moment between her and Quinn.

In follow-on scenes next week, Byron speaks to his girlfriend Sadie about her mum's secret meeting.

The timing couldn't be worse, as Sadie is just starting to feel that her parents' marriage is getting back on track.

Sadie is forced to share Byron's discovery with both Wendy and Andrew, letting them fight it out from there.

Wendy informs Andrew that Quinn asked to see her about a study issue, so she reluctantly agreed to the meeting. She reiterates that her close friendship with Quinn is now over.

Andrew seems pacified once more when Wendy promises to let him know if she hears from Quinn again, but is he really as reassured as he's making out?

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell fears the worst next week as she's caught secretly spending time with Quinn Lao yet again.

Wendy and Quinn's latest interaction is exposed as part of the dramatic hostage situation that takes place at The Waterhole in next Wednesday and Thursday's episodes (September 25 and 26).

A few weeks ago, Wendy promised her husband Andrew that she would cut fellow university student Quinn out of her life.

Wendy's vow came after she confessed to Andrew that she'd shared a charged moment with Quinn, although neither of them had acted on it.

Next week, Wendy repeats her promise to stay away from Quinn after being spotted in a brief conversation with him over a study-related matter.

A few days later, there are worrying times for Erinsborough's residents as Heath Royce's former bodyguard Justin arrives at The Waterhole to confront Holly Hoyland.

Justin orders Holly to hand over Heath's stolen money, and when she's unable to do so, a tense hostage situation unfolds inside the local bar.

Holly, Aaron Brennan, Susan Kennedy, Paul Robinson and Felix Rodwell are among the characters who find themselves trapped inside the building with a menacing Justin, who's armed with a gun.

Justin orders Aaron to lock the doors and instructs everyone to hand their phones over.

When police are alerted to the crisis, armed officers rush to the scene and try to negotiate the safe release of the hostages.

Andrew assures his daughter Sadie that they don't need to worry about Wendy as she wasn't inside The Waterhole when Justin turned up.

However, the truth is soon revealed to viewers when Wendy and Quinn are revealed to be hiding in the bar's office together.

When Andrew later finds out about this, he's cold towards Wendy as he feels that she has betrayed his trust again.

Wendy is overwhelmed and tearful after her terrifying ordeal, but Andrew fails to show much sympathy. Instead, he sternly demands to know what Wendy was doing with Quinn.

Could this be another nail in the coffin for the Rodwells' troubled marriage?

Neighbours reveals an uncertain future for Wendy and Andrew Rodwell's marriage next week.

The couple struggle to get back on track following the revelation that Wendy was trapped with Quinn Lao during a siege at The Waterhole.

This week's episodes see Heath Royce's former bodyguard Justin hold several characters at gunpoint at the bar. The frightening incident comes as Justin tries to get Heath's stolen money back from Holly Hoyland.

As the drama unfolds, Wendy hides out in The Waterhole's office with Quinn.

Her husband Andrew is shocked when their presence is uncovered, as Wendy has repeatedly promised to stay away from Quinn following the recent romantic chemistry between them.

Next week, Wendy desperately tries to explain herself to Andrew but gets upset when he seems unwilling to hear her out.

When Andrew storms off rather than listen to Wendy, she's forced to confide in her daughter Sadie about what happened instead.

Sadie sympathises with her mum when Wendy explains that Quinn tricked her into meeting him again, claiming to be her next university mentor.

Wendy suggests to Andrew that she could apply to put an intervention order on Quinn in the hope that he stops pestering her.

Andrew harshly dismisses this, claiming that Wendy is the problem rather than Quinn.

The police sergeant goes on to complain that Wendy and Quinn's surprise presence at The Waterhole distracted him at a crucial moment when he was dealing with the hostage situation.

This caused Andrew to freeze up and humiliate himself in front of colleagues, and jeopardise the safety of those trapped inside the building.

As Wendy continues her attempts to make amends, she's left upset as Andrew keeps on rejecting her. Could their marriage be in serious trouble?

Yep I thought QUINN was gay too once we met the character.
Not stalking, going through a rough time with his family needed a friend. The two initially bonded over their background. Think ANDREW & SADIE are over reacting. SADIE needs to keep her mouth shut and stay out of her parents marriage. WENDY hasnt cheated, isnt cheating and should be able to pick her friends without her family meddling.
