i couldn't find this posted anyway so here it is:

Holby City actress Sharon Maughan has quit the show.

Sharon, who plays nurse Tricia Williams, will leave our screens at the end of the year in an "explosive" storyine.

A BBC spokeswoman confirmed to DS: "Sharon Maughan will be leaving Holby City later this year. Sharon has been involved in dramatic storylines in her three years on the show and exit story in November will be no exception".

Another 7 months to go, that's good! I want to see more of the Mark/Tricia/Chrissie storyline, I love that!

Aww no i really like the character 'Tricia' im quite gutted actually, id really like to see her in some more storylines like the cancer one, shes a great actress! Only found out a while back she was married to Trevor Eve, i hope she will star in something else soon. Got a feeling it will be to do with the cancer coming back :(

I don't want her to leave, she is one of the few characters I actually like.
