yeah have to admit i thought the guy who plays owen on holby was pretty fab! same with the rogue traders guy. and naturally chris fountain was good. didnt like penny smith. dont like her on gmtv (coming up with 'funny' one-liners) dont like her singing.
have to say also that i will be watching it tomorrow methinks.
and my parting message is that chris fountain looks good in a suit.

Loved Sian and Russell, thought they were amazing, and not just coz i felt sorry for poor sian, and the horrible Rick.
Chris and Jo were ok, was expecting more from Chris, but good overall,(well apart from the obvious bum note)
Gaby much better than i thought, didn't think much to Martin tho.
Matt and Joceyln fab, to beable to meet a voice like her's, he did really well.
Mark and Natasha where good, want to hear them without the big band to cover up things.
The other 3 not really bothered to comment, as they weren't that great.

She was horrible, really didn't come across very well. Marking people down just coz she didn't like the song they sang, not judging on there voices and performance.
She just seemed really like rude, and very hard to please, me thinks she might be the nasty person, that all these types of shows seem to have.
And i used to think she was really nice, i may have to change my mind by the end of this series, i'll give her another chance tomorrow night.
I thought is was a very bad night at Karioke. I had to turn it off and watch iceskating instead
i only watched the first one as i went out. I thought he did rather well.
I thought Sian Reeves/Russell Watson and Matt Allwright/Jocelyn Brown, were fantastic.
Didn't think it was a very good choice of songs by Jo/Chris, especially as he did the high ballad - didn't like that
Fiona/Alexander - he was great, she was ok
Gabby/Martin - I though Gabby outshone Martin by far, we thought that Gabby could have been the professional and Martin the tone deaf celeb!!
Definitely going to watch again tonight though.
i am, ive just watched the catch up clips. why Chris did the high part i dont know. Sian was Fantastic, she was really well suited to Russells voice. Penny was not to not the showing of with the saxophone of her partner didnt help though. Marks performance looked pretty funny.
didn't see it have to watch it next time

i really enjoy chris- he put so much hard work into it- he looked so sexy in a suit (never seen him in one) I think he should come back- i thought we were not seeing the real him as him and Jo were only singing with Two guiters and the others had a band behind them
i liked russel and who he was with... he has a thing off going over her..
Penny so can not sing... (but i loved the way at the end she like we have one point)
owen(Holby city) was good i loved his and tasha show

god yeah! and it really annoyed me how they all navigated the stairs in between talking to tess daly and (as she kept constantly reminding the viewer) her husband vernon kay. also have to say i have had the trumpet/jazz bit of just the two of us stuck in my head for a whole day now, its slightly getting on my nerves.
will be watching tonight though! i want to hear penny again! *cough*

This program is pure POPULARITY contests just like Strictly Come Dancing, Fame Acadmy, if the viewers vote to save a rubbish singing /and or dancing celebrity.. theres nothing us viewers can do about it :searchme: Penny was horrible !! And she knows she is,,
Matt from Rogue Traders is something else, he puts so much emotion into his songs ..my hubby says his voice is by far the best celebrity voice..

i like the people that put so much effort into it like Matt did last night. I think the judges think they are simon cowell, why cant they be nice with their comments. The nasty judge has been done too many times.

Thank U Pookie for writing what I was just about to do,, now if that kid from Hollyoaks hadn't been on there they would have voted for the next FITTEST BLOKE,, weither or not he could sing or sound like a pair of finger nails on a chalk board,, Pookie another thing,, they will NEVER admit they voted for the guy cos HE COULD SING,, but they will vote for him cos he is FIT LOL I personally do not think the kid is that fit or good looking ...he is just like the rest of the contestants, they wanna make some dough for charity.. :ninja:

its turning into another x factor and penny is chico!!! its a bit of a farce when really good singers are going out at the expense of people like penny. then again what more can we expect with the voting public like they are! these shows should stop using the public to vote people in or out and use the experts a bit more.
It is so much of a popularity contest rather than ability isn't it!! Its just like Fiona in SCD too - so unfair on Matt and Jocelyn!

The song that Mark chose had alot of degrees of difficulty due to of all the high notes, hubby said most men can not hit those notes, but Mark managed it, you really have to stretch to reach those notes even as a female, which is why Judy Garland ( the original singer who did OVER THE RAINBOW in the Wizard of Oz) immoralized the song. I say Mark deserved higher praise !!!
i thought mark did really well cause its such a hard song. I like Sian and Russell especially as the put so much effort into last nights performance. I thought Matt and Jocelyn were pretty good they were better than Penny anyway.
The song that Mark chose had alot of degrees of difficulty due to of all the high notes, hubby said most men can not hit those notes, but Mark managed it, you really have to stretch to reach those notes even as a female, which is why Judy Garland ( the original singer who did OVER THE RAINBOW in the Wizard of Oz) immoralized the song. I say Mark deserved higher praise !!!Definitely Jodi - I can honestly say, that I thought it was one of the best ones he'd done and with the difficulties they had, what with Tasha's voice/throat and everything, they definitely deserved higher praise - certainly a lot higher than the praise Jo and Chris got IMO

you cannot honestly think he has a great voice. his voice isnt too bad but is often out of key or flat. you cannot honestly tell me people are not voting for him based on the fact he has been on hollyoaks. it happens with all these kind of shows with soap stars. and as bondboffin says, its a proven fact in these reality shows it is mostly teenage girls who vote. that is just facts not an opinion.you have to remember he is a soapstar- so he getting used to singing again- you can think what you like and i will think what i like.

I think that Chris is great to look at and has a great singing voice! When him and Jo did 'A Whole New World' (which is one of my favourite songs) i thought they were brilliant!

Tonights,
Chris and Jo - yep they were ok, better than normal.
Mark and Natasha - Loved them, so good together, there voices just go really well.
Penny and Curtis - Nope, still can't sing, she she had a few moments in key,. but still need her out.
Nicky and Beverly - What the heck was going on there, totally pants, they can go as well.
Sian and Russell - Now i wasn't sure to start with, but once they got going, really liked them.

chris was great at jailhouse rock i thought it really suited there voices. Penny is invincable, shell probabkly win. I think Russell watson is pretty hot as well.

i can't believe Chris and Jo were in the bottom two last night! They were so much better than Sian and Russel! I think the only reason Sian and Russel were kept in was because the public want to see her sing 'Barcelona'! lol Chris and Jo all the way!

i think sian was kept in so they could sing barcelona too, i thought she was ok last night though i nearly started blubbing when she did, i really felt for her!!!
i know it was so good. I really enjoyed everyones performances last night. I know how sian felt when she started crying, i have done it once on stage its highly embarrasing. She was really good. I dont like the way the judges are to her and russell though.
I cant believe Penny was in for so long. It was inevitable that she would be the one to go.
I was so glad Penney and Curtis went out last night, I think it was their time to go. At least in the semi-final the celebs can all sing, I am just gutted that I am going out tonight and I will miss it (sad face) The timer on the video isnt working so I cant tape it either!

Even though i loved Chris- He was bad yesterday! what was he wearing (a carpet) but i still love him! and he was not strong on both song- so i knew that his time was nearlly up... But glad he got to the end but not all the way to the end!

the judges have been against the two of them from the start. whether its peoples type of music or not no one can deny that russell has got a fantastic voice and he has been really supportive to sian. im sure mark and tash will win as they have been great consistantly but sian and russell were defo better than jo and chris last night. sian has my admiration for even attempting to sing barcelona, such a difficult song.

Why do you people think it was a sympathy vote for Sian? Remember the guy who is her singing partner, is a famous famous singer, so he has lots of fans out there, that are voting for them,, I think Russel is great, also I think Mark is wonderful as well, I hope Mark wins.
I think Chris was a bit out of his league, maybe in 5 years time and he comes back he can sweep up all the points, he has alot of growing up to do, he tried his best, but he just didn't have what it took..

I didn't think there was much between them, Mark and Tash were technically better and were admittedly my favourites, but sian has had such a rough ride so i guess it was kool that she won. They were all my favourites well done !!!!!!

Sian and Russell were good tonight, It goes to show even though you aren't all that good throughout the series you could still go all the way like Sian and Russell did. I really thought that Mark and Natasha would win.

i cant belive i missed tonights final well i can actually as i'm thick as mince i had it on dream team on skyone so i would not miss the start of 24 and by the time i came on here after 10 i remembered that it was on so can someone tell me the songs they sung and what the scores were
i missed the final to, i had a brass concert. Me and my mates all voted for sians on our mobiles though. Really glad her and Russell won, proved to the judges they dont know anything.
