Thought I would try my hand at this. It's my first one so tell me what you think
:)
Kat walked downstairs and could hear talking coming from the kitchen. She recognised the voices but didn’t believe they could really be there. She crept quietly up to the kitchen door and put her ear against it.
“I couldn’t just forget about what you said. What if you were right and Kat really did get in trouble for what we did.” The voice was that of a woman. It sounded worried. Anxious.
“I wouldn’t let it happen. She wasn’t there. There’s no evidence.” Another person was there. Kat felt the anger boiling inside her. How dare she be there after all we have done!
She burst through the door.
The two people jumped up, not expecting company.
“How dare you be in my house after what you have done! You ruined her life and now you’re back for more. I warned you Sam. I warned you not to come into my house!”
The two woman were taken aback by the sudden interference.
“It wasn’t like that Kat. We were just…”
“You keep out of this Zoe. What are you doing back anyway? You were supposed to get away from here.”
Suddenly they heard sirens outside. Kat spun round as she heard someone banging on the door. “Zoe Slater! It’s the police. Open up.”
“Zoe. You need to get out of here. Now!” whispered Kat. She turned to face Sam “And you. You stay where you are”
Zoe ran out the back door just as the police came barging in the gate. They walked up to her.
“Zoe Slater.” Said the policeman. “You are under arrest for the murder of Den Watts”
Zoe started crying. “Kat. Help me!”
“Come back!” screamed Kat. “Zoe!”
Kat woke up with a jolt as tears ran down her face. She calmed down as she realised it was just a dream. Zoe was still away from harm.
She slipped downstairs and went into the kitchen. She heard someone enter the kitchen behind her as she switched on the kettle.
“Where is the coffee?” she asked as she spun round.
Her face dropped as she looked in disbelief at who was standing infront of her.
“Hi Kat. I’m back.” Said Zoe
